2. Hosting and security by Cloudflare
This website is delivered via Cloudflare. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, technically necessary connection data is processed, such as your IP address, the time of access, the requested address, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page. This supports content delivery, troubleshooting and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU. Information about transfer mechanisms and data protection is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy and the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum. Operational and security data is processed in accordance with the retention periods applicable to the respective service.
3. Cookies and audience measurement
This website does not set its own marketing cookies. Cloudflare security features may use technically necessary cookies, for example to protect against automated attacks. Their actual use depends on the security features enabled.
Cloudflare Web Analytics has not been integrated into this version. If it is enabled, this section will first be updated to reflect the configuration actually used.
4. Getting in touch and the contact form
When you get in touch, your name, email address, subject and message, along with any information you provide voluntarily, are processed to handle your enquiry. Enquiries about potential collaboration are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and my interest in responding to incoming messages.
When form delivery is enabled, the message is transmitted to the server over an encrypted connection and forwarded to my email inbox. Delivery is handled through Cloudflare. The website does not create an additional message archive. Messages in the email inbox are deleted once they are no longer needed to handle the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply. In the preview, or when delivery is unavailable, the send button remains disabled; you can contact me directly by email or phone instead.
The required fields are needed to process and respond to your enquiry. The form cannot be used without this information. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
5. Spam protection in the contact form
When form delivery is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded to protect against automated abuse. Technical connection and browser data is transmitted to Cloudflare and a verification result is generated. The server checks this result before sending the message. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is protecting the form and email inbox against abuse. Alternatively, you can contact me directly by email or phone.
6. External links and embedded content
Displaying an external link does not itself establish a connection to the target provider. You only leave this website when you click the link; the provider then receives technically necessary connection data. Further processing is governed by that provider's privacy notice. No external video or audio players are embedded. Fonts are selected from the system fonts available on your device.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it with effect for the future.
For processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To do so, please use the contact details above.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or where the suspected infringement occurred. In Saxony, you can contact the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner .
